If you know me, you'll know that I'm fickle. Fickle as fickle can be. It's a girls prerogative to change her mind, don't you know.

For instance, I swore for all time, that I simple could not eat a piece of steak, I would rather die said I. Now I enjoy nothing more than a bleeding rare fillet, just walk it through a hot room. The story is the same for many foods but most famously - sushi, olives and king prawns.

My fickleness doesn't often extend into my wardrobe. I have a whole list of rules - no shoes with ankle straps, trousers or high neck sleeveless numbers. These do nothing for short legs or heavy busts. I know what I like and what suits me. I rarely change my mind. However, I may… possibly… have been wrong about certain nude shades. I still have reservations but teamed with darker pieces I think it works for me.

The moment I saw this simple peach dress with a peter pan collar, I instantly envisaged it with black opaques and my new Kate Kanzier Loafers, a navy coat and gold necklace. I think it was the sallow skinned, brunette model that sealed the deal.

Then came this lace trimmed darling. It was a hopeless case of love at first sight. She and I going to drink gin martinis (those don't stain) and dance until my feet bleed, in ludicrously high heels. When she arrives, neatly packaged in a brown paper with black polka dots, of course.
