I'm dreaming of escaping to the countryside to a cottage with a pretty kitchen, with a stack of books, lots of time for picnics and a new pair of Hunters. Since I'm busy sewing frocks in the city, I'll have to make do with window boxes and a stroll in the park.

Oh that all sounds so lovely. I was in Dedham on saturday, and everything was so beautiful, and all we had to worry about was where to go for afternoon tea. SO lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love those tea cups! :)
ReplyDeleteSame here Cait, a big deadline and I'm trapped at home ;) I'm dreaming of a day trip in the countryside to try my new bike! I'm very curious about those books, "domestic happiness" sounds brilliant!

ReplyDeleteI love the spice jars. They would look so pretty filled with brightly coloured glass buttons.
ReplyDeleteLovely selections. Am well up for a wee countryside retreat. Maybe we should try to pencil some glamping for end of Summer x

ReplyDeleteHey Cait! I won't be coming to the Anthropologie opening because I'm back home now and I can't afford the flights back to Edinburgh. So annoyed I'm missing it! It would have been great to meet you again. Thanks so much for referring them to me though, I really appreciate it. If nothing else like this happens next year (which is unlikely I guess, unless Primark invite us over ha ha!) then it would be lovely to meet up with you anyway, maybe we could do a joint blog post or something? It's my last year in Edinburgh so I need to make the most of it! By the way, the dress you made is stunning - your shop is going to go down a storm in the blog world!
