This weekend Summer finally came to Scotland! We took the opportunity to partake in my favourite summertime activities, snooping around heritage homes and gardens. We decide to visit Hopetoun House, just outside of Edinburgh for a stroll around the park and gaze out over the Firth of Forth.
The weather was so beautiful that I finally had a chance to... low and behold - wear summer clothes! Love were kind enough to send me this dress and just like Carrie I decided to wear it back to front, it just seemed to work better that way.
Sandals - Swedish Hasbeens for H&M, Bus Brooch - Accessorize, Bow Brooch - Vintage.
I adore the look of the reversed dress! Such a darling summer outfit.

I love that dress, it's so perfect for summer! Hopetoun House is one of my favourite places around Edinburgh too, although I haven't been there in years. Have you been to Jupiter Artland yet? My parents and I are planning a trip in early September, well, we are discussing where we should go and Edimburg is one of the options, I'll definitely let you know if we finally decide that :)
