Day

For the entire month of August Edinburgh is inundated with comedy acts, pop up bars and all manner of interesting events for the various festivals that are held in the city. This means it is a pretty manic place to live, which has been the perfect time to take on the Sure Women 'Refresh' Challenge. As I mentioned in my previous post, Sure Women and French Connection are giving away an outfit every day until September, including these two dresses.

I started my day with a spritz of Sure Linen Dry which smells lovely. Really fresh and comforting. As I'm sure they intended, it remind me of fresh laundry without any strong floral notes. I paired it with a navy silk dress, a vintage bag and sunglasses. Usually I would think the sparkly details were a bit too much for during the day but with all the festival activity, pretty much anything goes. It was a blazing hot day and I spent most of the afternoon running errands but the beauty of wearing silk is that it keeps you nice a cool.

By the time I made it home through the heavy traffic, I only had time to switch into this navy lace dress, grab a jacket and run out the door to meet friends a pop up Mojito bar (it's not all bad). When I arrived my friend asked what my new perfume was, which must be testament in itself as I completely forgot to apply any. Thanks Sure Women!
